Empowering Connections WI (EC) is a virtual book club with guided discussions to serve as a healing community for partners, past or present, of individuals struggling with sex addiction or sexually acting-out behaviors.

These experiences often leave the partner seeking safety and answers to make sense of the betrayal. This type of trauma can be deeply painful and disorienting, often leading to emotional, psychological, and physical distress.

It’s important to remember that this is not your fault. You did not cause your partner’s behaviors, and nothing you did—or didn’t do—makes you responsible for their choices. Sex addiction is a reflection of an individual's own struggles and decisions, not a reflection of their partner's worth or actions.

We honor the courage it takes to seek support and recognize the complexity of your experiences. Based in Wisconsin but open to all, EC offers a compassionate space where your journey is seen, your voice is valued, and your well-being is prioritized. Together, we share experiences, explore resources, and build meaningful connections.
